Northlight Production Assistant

I had the joy of working with Northlight Theatre in their 2023-2024 season on several of their productions. As a PA I had the following responsibilities:

• Assist stage manager with setting up room, including taping out set, assembling and printing production packets, and setting up sanitation/writing stations for first rehearsal

• Tracking all backstage elements, including scenic transitions, prop tracking, costume changes, and anything involving backstage crew; create PA workbook to track all these materials

• Assist stage manager as needed throughout rehearsal, including being on book, taking line notes, and setting up/taking down the room each day

• Train and familiarize Floor Manager and Wardrobe Supervisor with backstage duties, including walking through onstage and offstage presets, working through transitions, and any other responsibilies that involve them during the show

• Once crew is trained, serve as a floater in tech and assist those as needed; could involve supply runs, wrangling actors, being on book and doing line notes, etc.
