Northlight Production Assistant / Floor Manager

I have the joy of working with Northlight Theatre in their 2024-2025 season on all of their productions as both a productoin assistant and floor manager. As a PA and FM I had the following responsibilities:

• Assist stage manager with setting up room, including taping out set, assembling and printing production packets, and setting up sanitation/writing stations for first rehearsal

• Tracking all backstage elements, including scenic transitions, prop tracking, costume changes, and anything involving backstage crew; create PA workbook to track all these materials

• Assist stage manager as needed throughout rehearsal, including being on book, taking line notes, and setting up/taking down the room each day

•  Train and familiarize Wardrobe crew with backstage duties, including walking through onstage and offstage presets, working through transitions, and any other responsibilities that involve them during the show.

• Set-up backstage area, run deck crew track and complete assigned pre/post show duties for all previews and performances.

• If just working as PA, I would serve as a floater in tech and assist those as needed; could involve supply runs, wrangling actors, being on book and doing line notes, etc. and am off contract after 2nd preview.
